The extraction of real geological environment information is a key factor in accurately evaluating the vulnerability to geological hazards. Yanghe Township is located in the mountainous area of western Sichuan and lacks geological survey data. Therefore, it is important predict the spatial and temporal development law of landslide debris flow in this area and improve the effectiveness and accuracy of monitoring changes in landslide debris flow, this article proposes a method for extracting information on the changes in landslide debris flows combined with NDVI variation, which is based on short baseline interferometry (SBAS-InSAR) and optical remote sensing interpretation. In this article, we present relevant maps based on six main factors: vegetation index, slope, slope orientation, elevation, topographic relief, and formation lithology. At the same time, different remote sensing images were compared to improve the accuracy of landslide debris flow sensitivity assessments. The research showed that the highest altitude of the region extracted by multi-source remote sensing technology is 2877 m, and the lowest is 630 m, which can truly reflect the topographic relief characteristics of the region. The pixel binary model’s lack of regional restrictions enables a more accurate estimation of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), bringing it closer to the actual vegetation situation. The study uncovered a bidirectional relationship between vegetation coverage changes and landslide deformation in the study area, revealing spatial–temporal evolution patterns. By employing multi-source remote sensing technology, the research effectively utilized changes in multi-period imagery and feature extraction methods to accurately depict the development process and distribution characteristics of landslide debris flow. This approach not only offers technical support but also provides guidance for evaluating the vulnerability of landslide debris flow in the region.

Strength parameters are key factors that influence the sliding process of landslides and further affect the impact force on structures. Many scholars have previously studied the influence of strength parameters on slope stability; however, the influence of strength parameters on the impact force of flow-like landslides has not been analyzed till date. Therefore, in this study, the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method was used to simulate the flow process of landslides and estimate the impact force on the rigid barrier by adjusting the strength parameters of landslides. The proposed SPH model was validated by a model test of dry sand impacting rigid barriers. The Gaoloucun landslide was selected as the study case and simulated to study the influence of parameters on the impact force. Finally, a multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to explore the sensitivity of impact force to input parameters and obtain the standardized regression coefficient, which was compared to find the dominant strength parameter. According to the results, among two strength parameters, the internal friction angle has more influence on the peak impact force than the cohesion.

Cross-Scale Analysis on the Working Performance of Micropile Group and Talus Slope System

Micropile groups (MPGs), combined with the advantages of the anti-slip pile and anchor cable, offer an efficient support system that can be used as countermeasures for stabilizing the talus slopes. However, the performance of MPGs in stabilizing the talus slopes is rarely numerically investigated from the continuous-discontinuous viewpoints. To fulfil this knowledge gap, a numerical method coupled with the discrete element method (DEM) with the finite element method (FEM) is proposed first, and validated to be with good accuracy by the centrifuge model tests. A series of cross-scale analysis cases are then adopted to assess the behavior of MPG in the talus slopes, in which the influencing factors are also taken into account. The numerical results indicate that the MPGs reinforcement can significantly improve the stability of the talus slopes, avoiding the potential progressive shallow slip. For the MPGs with different pile spacing, the distribution laws of deformation and internal force are rather similar, but the one whose pile spacing is four times the pile diameter shows better performance. Moreover, the effective anchorage length of MPG is approximately 1/3 of the pile length, and the axial force distribution is influenced by the type of pile bottom constraint and the tangential contact between the micropile and the bedrock. Finally, the “bidirectional anchorage” attributed to the platform and the bedrock can greatly improve the performance of the MPG, which is a non-negligible part of the anti-slip mechanism of the MPG. This study is of great significance for facilitating the design of MPG in stabilizing the talus slopes.
