Type 2 diabetes increases the long‐term risk of heart failure and mortality in patients with atrial fibrillation

Abstract: Aims Impact of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) on non‐thromboembolic outcomes in atrial fibrillation (AF) is insufficiently explored.
