“…These optical identification and spectral classification were later confirmed by Dower et al (1978) and . In the meantime, two close X-ray periodicities with periods of ∼ 292 and ∼ 297 sec were discovered from the vicinity of 4U 1145-619 (White et al, 1978). The situation was clarified with the discovery of another X-ray source 1E 1145.1-614 located only 15' away from 4U 1145-619 and demonstrated pulsations with the period of ∼ 298 s, while pulsations with the period ≃ 290 s were attributed to 4U 1145-619 (Lamb et al, 1980).…”

“…These confirmed that our algorithm worked as intended. In our Chandra observations, we identified the high-mass X-ray binary ( HMXB) 4U 1145À619 ( White et al 1978;Rutledge et al 2007), CXOU J164710.2À455216 (Muno et al 2006), and two sources toward the Galactic center (CXOC J174532.3À290251 and GXOGC J174532.7À290552; Muno et al 2003). In the XMM-Newton observations, we identified the pulsars Geminga ( Halpern & Holt 1992;Jackson & Halpern 2005) and PSR J1513À5908 (Seward & Harnden 1982), the HMXB Sct X-1 ( Koyama et al 1991;Kaplan et al 2007), and the magnetars 1E 1048.1À5937 (Seward et al 1986;Tiengo et al 2005), 1RXS J170849.0À400910 (Sugizaki et al 1997;Rea et al 2005), SGR 1806-20 (Murakami et al 1994;Mereghetti et al 2005), SGR 1900+14 (Hurley et al 1999;Mereghetti et al 2006a), XTE J1810À197 in outburst (Ibrahim et al 2004;Halpern & Gotthelf 2005), and 1E 2259+586 (Fahlman & Gregory 1981).…”
