This paper proposes and analyzes dynamic speed sensitive call admission control (DSSCAC) for WiMAX-WLAN integrated overlay networks. A hierarchical overlay structure is an alternative solution that integrates existing and future heterogeneous wireless networks to provide subscribers with better mobile broadband services. This proposed DSSCAC avoids unnecessary handoff and reduces signaling overheads, increases utility of the network by dynamically varying bandwidth reservation for handoff calls. Proposed DSSCAC is analyzed for two different coupling architecture of integrated WiMAX-WLAN overlay network.Performance of such integrated network is necessary for network planning and dimensioning.
