Two rare cases of fungal bursitis due to Phialemoniopsis pluriloculosa

Abstract: Fungal infections due to Phialemoniopsis spp. are rarely reported in the medical literature. We report the first two cases of fungal bursitis of the knee by Phialemoniopsis pluriloculosa , which has not been previously reported. Both patients were successfully treated with a six-month course of posaconazole.
