“…The ligand 4-(2-pyridyl)-NH-1,2,3-triazole (HL) was prepared according to the literature. 39 Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was performed on a NETZSCH TG 209 F3 thermogravimetric analyzer in flowing N 2 (20 mL min −1 ) with a heating rate of 10 °C min −1 . The FT-IR spectra were recorded from KBr pellets in the range 4000–400 cm −1 on a Perkin Elmer Spectrum FT-IR spectrometer.…”

“…On the other hand, although many studies on intramolecular magnetic interactions through bond exchange have been reported in the area of molecular magnetism, research on intermolecular interactions (such as π···π stacking, hydrogen bonds, etc.) is less developed. It has been proved that metal complexes exhibiting a square-planar, electronically delocalized structure may display intrinsic magnetic properties as a result of the strong intermolecular interactions. For such molecules, SCSC transformations induced by sorption/desorption of guest molecules may lead to a modification of the packing arrangement and a change in intermolecular interactions. In order to clarify the magnetostructural correlations and further offer potential applications of such molecular materials in the area of tunable magnetic devices, it is an important challenge to establish the relationship between the molecular packing and magnetic properties, which requires a combination of theoretical and experimental studies.…”
