Two FPGA-Oriented High-Speed Irradiance Virtual Sensors for Photovoltaic Plants

Abstract: Knowing solar irradiance value allows an optimized management of photovoltaic (PV) power plants in terms of produced energy. Unfortunately, although sensing temperature is easy, the measurement of solar irradiance is expensive.
