Abstract:Gastrostomy tubes are frequently used to provide enteral access in some pediatric patients. Serious long-term complications are rare. The case-report here is a 12 years-old neurologically impaired child who had gastrostomy done for pharyngeal incoordination, presented eight years later with intestinal obstruction and upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
