Two-Directional Micro-Laue Diffraction Mapping to Observe Kink Deformation in Long-Period Stacking-Ordered Mg–Zn–Y Alloys under Compression

Abstract: We modified a previously developed compact compression-test stage for synchrotron radiation micro-Laue diffraction mapping to investigate the deformation of the long-period stacking-ordered phase of a magnesium polycrystal.
