Abstract:As fast-emerging two-dimensional (2D) materials, MXenes have attracted great attention in the fields of optics and electricity. In this paper, the nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of the 2D MXene material (Nb 4 C 3 ) and its MAX predecessor (Nb 4 AlC 3 ) are presented. Also, the broadband NLO responses of Nb 4 AlC 3 and Nb 4 C 3 nanosheets had been investigated using the open aperture (OA) Z-scan technique. The results showed that 2D Nb 4 AlC 3 exhibited significant two-photon absorption (TPA) properties in … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
