“…Os achados anatomopatológicos consistem de uma dilatação aneurismática restrita ao AD, que é formado de paredes extremamente finas, com estudos histológicos mostrando extensa fibrose atrial. O diagnóstico da dilatação idiopática do AD é baseado nos achados ecocardiográficos característicos,5,6 sendo o diagnóstico diferencial feito principalmente com doenças que acometam o lado direito do coração, entre elas a anomalia de Ebstein e suas variações, a doença de Uhl e a displasia arritmogênica do VD. A anomalia de Ebstein apresenta implantação mais apical da valva tricúspide, acarretando maior dimensão do AD, suplantando inclusive o tamanho do ventrículo direito.…”
