Two-Component Capacitance-Type Displacement Detector

Abstract: RESULTSEvaluation tests were made using a shock tube 4 to accelerate air, initially at atmospheric pressure and temperature, to a speed of 1800 feet per second. Schlieren pictures were taken of the air flowing from the shock tube over a slender cone placed in the stream (Fig. 2).
