We recently analyzed 33 cases (17 men and 16 women) of plasmocytosis circumorificialis developing on the lips, reported in Japan between 1983 and 2007 (including the present case), in which adequate information on methods of treatment and outcome were available 5–30 . The outcome of treatment was rated on a three‐category scale: “effective”, “relapsing” or “ineffective”.…”
