“…Nevertheless, after reviewing the relevant literature, we noted that some studies such as those by Zhang, et.al [21]; Shahparvari, Nasirian [22]; Maharjan and Hanaoka [23]; Essaadi, Grabot [24]; Maharjan and Hanaoka [25] addressed the key elements and challenges for establishing permanent and temporary logistic hubs, in addition to developing various models for selecting the optimal location of logistic hubs with the application on different sectors, e.g., sea and air ports, passenger and container terminals and freight. While other literature such as that of Kemoklidze [26], Yilmaz-Bozkus [12], Ersen and Celikpala [13], Stratakis and Pelagidis [27], and Akhbari [28] mainly focused on the role and importance of energy hubs and analyzed the endeavors of some countries to transform into a regional or global energy hub or corridor from several points of view, i.e., political, legal, and security. Consequently, there are no previous studies tackling establishing energy hubs from a logistics perspective or their requirements.…”
