Turismo X Conservação: Estudo De Caso Do Passeio Do Cavalo-Marinho No Estuário Do Rio Maracaípe (Ipojuca, Pe): Hora De Remediar a Situação

Abstract: Situado no município de Ipojuca, PE, o estuário do rio Maracaípe (8º32’14,9’’S e 35º00’17,8’’W) apresenta um extenso manguezal cujas espécies vegetais dominantes são Rhizophora mangle (mangue vermelho) e Avicennia schaueriana (mangue negro). Dentro do estuário, é praticada a pesca (peixes, crustáceos e moluscos) e há a extração de madeira para a construção de casas e barcos e uso como lenha.
