Tuning of the moiré bands in graphene on hexagonal boron nitride by the periodic electrostatic gating

Abstract: Moiré bands separated by the primary and secondary gaps emerge in the superlattices ofmonolayer (MLG) and bilayer graphene (BLG) aligned with the hexagonal boron nitride (BN).
