Tumour-associated eosinophilia: a review.

Abstract: During a recent study of 460 cases of cervical carcinoma from Malawi5 an assessment was made of cellular infiltration of the stroma within and adjacent to the tumour. In 13 cases (3 %) there was a very marked tissue eosinophilia with over 100 eosinophils per high power field of stroma.
