Abstract: Ureterosigmoidostomies, cystoplasties, and orthotopic (ileo)colonic neobladders necessitate regular endoscopic evaluation from at least the fifth postoperative year. After ileal neobladders, conduits, and catheterizable ileocecal pouches regular routine endoscopy is not imperative.
