Trust in the face of uncertainty: a qualitative study of intersubjective trust and risk

Abstract: Contemporary trust research regards trust as a way of dealing with uncertainty and risk.Predominantly, it suggests that trust reduces uncertainty by means of risk assessment and rational calculation.
