wireless networking is one of the current attractive fields for researchers in current era. The ad hoc network is a separable part of wireless networking which facilitate the users to perform communication among mobile terminals with limited bandwidth. But as these networks did not follow any physical topology for installation therefore the risk of security attacks an threats are higher in ad hoc networks. Various attacks such a eavesdropping, spoofing, denial of service are difficult to detect in wireless ad hoc networks. So many researchers have been conducted in this field till now but most of them are not capable to achieve high level security of data plane in ad hoc wireless networks. A novel approach for securing data plane in AHNs has been developed under this study. The PRO-OLSR is a combination of fuzzy based system with OLSR routing protocol. The essential parameters like average delay, packet delivery ratio, direct trust and attack suspected ratio are used as an input membership function to fuzzy system. And on the Basis of the output of FIS the next hop for data delivery is elected. The simulation is done in MATLAB and results are generated to proves the proficiency of PRO-OLSR technique.

The reliable data delivery is a challenging task in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) due to dynamic and unpredictable changing behaviors of nodes. The traditional cryptographic and authentication based schemes can't be adopted due to their associated cost and incapability to counter nodes misbehavior attacks. Recently, trust based solutions have proved to be more effective to address nodes' misbehavior attacks. Apart from isolating misbehaving nodes, the existing trust based schemes lacks the capability to minimize link failure notifications due to transient transmission disruption which consequently give rise to frequent route breakages thereby undermining throughput and route stability. Moreover, the existing solutions give rise to high energy consumption and control overhead in pursuit of trust estimation and network-wide dissemination which not only adds to network congestion but also undermines network lifetime. In this paper, we present a Trust and Energy aware Routing Protocol (TERP) that B Adnan Ahmed makes use of a distributed trust model for the detection and isolation of misbehaving nodes. TERP incorporates a composite routing function that encompasses trust, residualenergy, and hop count of neighbor nodes in making routing decisions. This multi-facet routing strategy helps to balance out energy consumption among trusted nodes while routing data using shorter paths. Moreover, TERP intelligently evaluates the actual link breakage thereby avoiding unnecessary route discoveries. Simulation results demonstrate improved throughput, network lifetime and route stability of TERP when compared to existing work.

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are spontaneously deployed over a geographically limited area without wellestablished infrastructure. In a distributed Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), collaboration and cooperation is critical concern to managing trust. The networks work well only if the mobile nodes are trusty and behave cooperatively. Due to the openness in network topology and absence of a centralized administration in management, MANETs are very vulnerable to various attacks from malicious nodes. In order to reduce the hazards from such nodes and enhance the security of network, trust-based model is used to evaluate the trustworthiness of nodes. Trust-based approach provides a flexible and feasible approach to choose the shortest route that meets the security requirement of data packets transmission. This paper focuses on trust management with their properties and provides a survey of various trust-based approaches and it proposes some novel conceptions on trust management in MANETs.
