Troubleshooting common breastfeeding difficulties

Abstract: The majority of women who initiate breastfeeding at birth do not meet long term exclusive breastfeeding recommendations. This early weaning is often the result of breastfeeding difficulties and misinformation. Access to lactation professionals is limited for many patients and family physicians can help bridge this care gap.
