Tropospheric water vapour isotopologue data (H216O, H218O, and HD16O) as obtained from NDACC/FTIR solar absorption spectra

Abstract: Abstract. We report on the ground-based FTIR (Fourier transform infrared) tropospheric water vapour isotopologue remote sensing data that have been recently made available via the database of NDACC (Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change; ftp://ftp.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/ndacc/MUSICA/) and via doi:10.5281/zenodo.48902. Currently, data are available for 12 globally distributed stations. They have been centrally retrieved and quality-filtered in the framework of the MUSICA project (MUlti-platform… Show more

“…TES is an FTIR aboard Aura that observes emitted radiance between 650 and 3050 cm −1 spectral resolution of 0.10 cm −1 when observing in nadir mode and 0.025 cm −1 in limbviewing mode (Beer et al, 2001). Limb-scanning measurements were performed only until May 2005.…”

“…The CANDAC Bruker IFS 125HR is a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) that is part of the Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change (NDACC, www.ndacc.org). The Bruker 125HR was deployed at the Polar Environmental Atmosphere Research Laboratory (PEARL) Ridge Lab (86.4 • W, 80.1 • N; Fogal et al, 2013) in 2006 (Batchelor et al, 2009). The PEARL Ridge Lab is 610 m above sea level, 15 km away from EWS (which is 10 m above sea level).…”
