Trojan Horse Method: Basics and Recent Applications

Abstract: The Trojan Horse Method has been developed and applied by the Catania Nuclear Astrophysics group over the last three decades. In this work, the basic features of the method together with a review of validity checks and recent applications will be reviewed. In particular examples of studies of reactions induced by charged particles and neutrons in presence of radioactive species will be shown.
