Tribo‐ferro‐optoelectronic neuromorphic transistor of α‐In2Se3

Abstract: Inspired by biological neural networks, the fabrication of artificial neuromorphic systems with multimodal perception capacity shows promises in overcoming the “von Neumann bottleneck” and takes advantage of the efficient perception and computation of diverse types of signals. Here, we combine a triboelectric nanogenerator with an α‐phase indium selenide (α‐In2Se3) optoelectronic synaptic transistor to construct a tribo‐ferro‐optoelectronic artificial neuromorphic device with multimodal plasticity. Based on th… Show more

“…In addition to simulating synaptic characteristics, the P-Cu -based memristor also achieves the emulation of typical Boolean logic functions through electrical stimuli with varying pulse widths (Figure g). We employ two electrical pulses as input signals to implement basic AND and OR gate circuits . The duration of the input signal acts as a modulation variable, governing the logic function switching.…”

“…We employ two electrical pulses as input signals to implement basic AND and OR gate circuits. 37 The duration of the input signal acts as a modulation variable, governing the logic function switching. For short durations of electrical input pulses, the peak value of the postsynaptic current (PSC) caused by a single pulse remains below the threshold of 3.5 × 10 −5 A, representing the "0" state.…”
