Tribaryon Configurations and Three Nucleon Repulsions at Short Distance

Abstract: We investigate the three baryon interaction in terms of tribaryon configuration which is compact nine quark system by constructing color-spin-flavor wave function satisfying the Pauli principle. By comparing the color-spin interaction of compact tribaryon configuration against the lowest three baryon threshold within a constituent quark model, we show that the three baryon forces have to be repulsive at short distance.
