Triaxial rotor in the O(6) limit of the interacting boson model

Abstract: A mapping from the triaxial rotor Hamiltonian to that of the O(6) limit in the interacting boson model (IBM) is established, which is achieved by introducing the symmetry-conserving high-order interactional terms The validity of the proposed mapping scheme is further examined for the cases with γ = 0 and γ = π/6, respectively.
