Abstract:This chapter covers information about the design and interpretation of interventional cardiology and focuses on why evidence-based medicine is important to clinicians. The shift to evidence-based medicine means that clinicians will need to be aware of how to interpret the information they have collected from the patient. Each method of data collection and presentation has its own strengths and weaknesses. Also in this chapter is a variety of case studies to help determine when best to apply a certain method.
