Trends in the organization of the meat industry.

Abstract: This paper discusses the trends in the organization of the UK meat industry against the background of EU and world meat production. It shows that the UK meat industry, along with meat industries in other countries, is changing to reflect the shift in consumer preferences and the globalization of meat production driven by low production costs in some countries.
