Trends in Episode-of-Care Spending for Cancer-Directed Surgery Among US Medicare Beneficiaries From 2011 to 2019

Abstract: This cross-sectional study examines trends in the number of cancer-directed surgeries from 2011 to 2019 among US patients aged 65 years or older and in Medicare spending for those surgeries overall and by inpatient vs outpatient sites of care.
