Treatment Programs

Abstract: While rooted in the Medical Model, treatment programs attempt to alleviate conditions that criminal offenders suffer from that lead to deviance and criminality. The underlying justification for treatment programs involves the notion that without proper intervention, criminals will continue to take part in criminal acts.
