“…A pooled data analysis of 288 elderly patients with SGCs treated at 3 institutions between 2005 and 2020 was recently performed: 207/288 subjects (72%) were treated with IMRT plus C12 boost, which was correlated with a high LRC (90.6% at 2 years), but the OS was not improved; 70/ 288 subjects (24.3%) experienced higher grade (G3) acute toxicities, most commonly mucositis, dysphagia and dermatitis.
