Treatment Outcomes and Patterns of Failure in Patients Who Underwent Postoperative Radiation Therapy for Major Salivary Gland Carcinomas

Abstract: N1 disease (91.2% vs 72.3%, P<.001), had larger LN size on physical examination (P<.001), and had more patients with T2N1 disease (P<.001) than those patients treated with IMRT alone. For the chemotherapy regimen, 57 patients were treated with concurrent weekly cisplatin 40 mg/m 2 and 59 patients were treated with 3 weekly cisplatin 100 mg/m 2 .
