Abstract:A synthesized homologue of the sensory neuron excitotoxin capsaicin is capsazepine. It was altered from capsaicin's chemical structure, which can act as a TRPV1 antagonist. It can interface with all of the monomer’s residues of the TRPV1 channel's transmembrane domain and connect to the channel's pores.
