Abstract: TRAVMATİK DOĞUMUN ÖNLENMESİNDE EBENİN ROLÜ ÖZ Doğum, birçok kadının yaşadığı normal fizyolojik bir olaydır. Kadın doğum sürecini, kendisi ya da bebeği için yaralanma veya ölüm tehdidi olarak algıladığında, travmatik doğum olarak tanımlar. Travmatik doğumun önlenmesinde ebe, doğum travması açısından riskli kadınları tanılamalı ve doğumda koruyucu bakım hizmeti sunmalıdır.
