“…Mobile right heart thrombus is a severe presentation of thromboembolic disease, which presents as an imminent pulmonary embolism and usually coexists with a massive embolism [2]. Surgical thromboembolectomy with exploration of the right chambers is considered as the classical treatment of right heart thrombus [3]. In the present case, the RA thrombus was incidentally detected on echocardiography, but the patient's poor general condition did not allow for surgical treatment, which requires general anaesthesia.…”

“…It can result in complete circulatory collapse if it embolizes, therefore, prompt surgical management is indicated. 1 Any new cardiac mass in an immunosuppressed patient raises concern about malignancy as the primary diagnosis; histopathologic assessment is critical. This case represents a rare occurrence of likely de-novo RA thrombus in a structurally normal heart without any evidence of peripheral venous thrombosis or concomitant pulmonary embolism in a patient who had previously undergone lung transplantation.…”
