Abstract:Dens invaginatus (DI) é uma anomalia dentária de desenvolvimento onde há uma invaginação do órgão do esmalte na papila dentária, antes que a calcificação esteja completa. Essas anomalias são clinicamente relevantes, pois bactérias da cavidade oral podem contaminar e se propagar dentro dessas malformações, levando ao desenvolvimento de cárie precoce e, consequentemente, morte pulpar.
