Trapped and transverse motion of a charged particle within tilted electrodes in silicone oil

Abstract: As for seeking practically applicable electrode configuration to remove conductive particles from liquefied plastics, the conductive particle motion in the tilted electrode system has been carefully investigated. A charged particle shows up-and-down motion between electrodes. Depending on the applied voltage, a particle transverses either toward narrower gap or the wider gap.
