Transversus abdominis plane block vs. wound infiltration in Caesarean section: a randomised controlled trial

Abstract: Compared with wound infiltration with local anaesthetics, TAP block did not reduce cumulative morphine consumption following CS. The TAP block was associated with more pronounced sedation.
