Transverse anderson localization of light waves through Au nanoparticles in a 3D optical waveguide

Abstract: In this work, a disordered medium, comprised of Rhodamine dye-doped phenol and Au nanoparticles in an optical waveguide, is used to realize transverse Anderson localization of light waves. The optical waveguide facilitates to suppress unwanted optical modes and produce just a single dominant Anderson mode.
