Transport of biomass burning products from Siberian wildfires into the Arctic

Abstract: The study of the long-range transport of biomass burning products from Siberian wildfires into the Arctic atmosphere during the period of 2000-2019 is presented. An analysis of the characteristics of forest fires over the past 20 years revealed an increase in radiation power of an average Siberian wildfire, which is characterized by a statistically significant linear trend of 1.7 ± 1.0% / year.
