Transport of Azithromycin into Extravascular Space in Rats

Abstract: f Recent clinical trials showed a prolonged retention of subinhibitory concentrations of unbound azithromycin in the interstitial fluid of soft tissues despite the fact that azithromycin is extensively distributed in tissues.
