Abstract: Background: Transnasal endoscopy (TNE) does not require general anesthesia, an attractive characteristic for monitoring eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). We evaluated the adequacy of TNE-obtained esophageal biopsies using the EoE Histology Scoring System (EoEHSS).
