Transmission Characteristics Of The Electrooptically Perturbated Planar Dielectric Waveguide

Abstract: The theoretical investigation of planar dielectric waveeixide affected by electric field is presented herein. The electric field modifies refractive index of the waveguide only by means of Pockels effect. As a result, distorted waveguide causes radiation losses for guided electromagnetic waves in different way for TE and TM modes.
