Transmission and measurement characteristics evaluation of surface acoustic wave sensor on rotating spindle in machine tools

Abstract: Surface acoustic wave sensors offer overwhelming advantages over other potentially competitive sensing technologies in rotating mechanical structures for their wireless and passive capability.
