Transmissão Vertical Do Hiv: Reflexões Para Promoção Da Saúde E Do Cuidado De Enfermagem

Abstract: O processo de feminização da infecção pelo HIV aumenta o risco da transmissão vertical (TV), principal via de infecção pelo vírus na população infantil. Nesse contexto, destaca-se o papel fundamental do enfermeiro, que presta assistência direta e contínua às mães soropositivas e crianças expostas ao vírus, como peça fundamental na promoção da saúde do binômio mãe-filho.
