Translation and validation of a spanish version of the sociocultural attitudes towards appearance questionnaire‐4 (SATAQ‐4)

Abstract

Results strongly support the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of SATAQ-4 and its use to examine perceived pressure for thinness from parents, peers and the media; and thin- and muscular/athletic-ideal internalization in Spanish-speaking adult women.
