Originally, the presence of a neurogenic compression [4], a nontraumatic reflex sympathetic dystrophy [5] or an obstruction of the venous return with localized hyperemia [8] were suggested as the provoking pathomechanisms. TOH though, lacks the vascular and cutaneous changes which are characteristic of the reflex sympathetic dystrophy.…”
