Abstract: In South Korea, two peer-reviewed journals related to the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) [1-3]: 1) Journal of the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for 43 years; 2) Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery are already existing for 40 years.
