Abstract:Utilizing the discrete fracture model (DFM), a transient flow model is established for fractured horizontal wells in tight oil reservoirs, accounting for threshold pressure gradient (TPG), stress sensitivity effect, hydraulic fracture parameters, and fracture distribution pattern. This model is solved using the finite-volume method (FVM), and an important sensitivity analysis is conducted. The findings reveal that the models incorporated by the threshold pressure gradient result in an upward trend in the press… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
