“…The wire nut technique may also prove useful for making infestations of other stalk boring Lepidoptera, such as the southwestern corn borer. As acreage under Bt corn continues to increase (Tiwari and Youngman 2010), our results may prove useful for providing pest managers an efÞcient tool for handinfesting corn with lepidopteran pest larvae for future resistance and economic studies on Bt corn.
